Caligo - Pipe silencers

To reduce combustion, flow and fan noise, absorption silencers are generally used in the flue gas connection pipes. Depending on the size and attenuation line, these pipe silencers are fitted with edge center baffles. For optimum noise minimization, we recommend installing the silencer as close as possible to the emission source. Information on the output spectrum, volume flow, temperature and permissible sound level at the chimney outlet is essential for optimum silencer design.

Caligo - splitter silencer

Caligo baffle silencers consist of several baffles that are installed in rectangular or cylindrical housings. Due to their design, pure splitter silencers achieve a higher silencing performance with the same length but wider dimensions than the aforementioned tubular silencers. However, the pressure loss is higher than with tubular silencers.
