The condition monitoring of steel and solid chimney systems in accordance with DIN EN 1993-3-2 / DIN 1056 serves to verify the stability and inspection of the riser system as well as the early detection of damage. This inspection, which is prescribed by law, is usually carried out every two years. The inspection is carried out by an expert (ITS seminar for experts) and is documented in an inspection logbook, which must be presented to the authorities on request. The inspection logbook must be presented before an inspection by an authorized person (e.g. chimney sweep).
